Event Description

Dara Torres is giving a Freestyle Clinic to benefit AquAbility.  Dara is a twelve-time Olympic medalist and the first and only swimmer from the United States to compete in five Olympic Games!

Dara will share her knowledge and experiences of competition, talk about training, nutrition, and dry land training, and teach freestyle technique and drills in the Boise State University Recreation Center Pool.  Elite USA swimmers and coaches will be assisting Dara, including Caroline Kuczynski, ASU All-American, 2011 World University Games on Canadian Team,  3rd in Butterfly Canadian Olympic Trials.

This clinic is for recreational swimmers, competitive swimmers, and triathletes.  Participants in the pool portion of the clinic must be 13 and over and be able to swim 300 yards freestyle.

This is a special opportunity to meet Dara, learn more about swimming freestyle more efficiently, and get autographs.

Proceeds from this event help support
AquAbility, a non-profit providing swimming for children, adults and veterans with disabilities.  http://www.aquability.org/
